Hi friends! It was my 29th birthday recently, meaning it's my 30th year alive and I cannot deal with being this close to 30, that's crazy! Anyway, the other day we had some drinks and I made two types of sangria - one pineapple sangria and one rose sangria. Here is the Pineapple Sangria Recipe!
Pineapple Sangria Recipe - by asheycakes
Makes 1 jug (serves 6-10)
Ingredients/What You Will Need
1 bottle white wine (I used a Sauvignon Blanc)
1L of pineapple juice
1/2 cup brandy
1/4 cup Cointreau (or any orange liquor)
Punnet of strawberries
A handful of fresh cherries
1 x lemon (sliced)
A few pieces of fresh pineapple (optional) - I didn't have any so wasn't used
Raspberries/Blueberries (optional)
Wooden Spoon
Glass Jug
Method
Pour white wine into a jug.
Add in fruit - strawberries, cherries, lemon, pineapple and other berries.
With a wooden spoon, stir the fruit into the wine.
Add in the brandy, Cointreau and pineapple juice.
Stir gently with wooden spoon again.
Place in fridge for 8+ hours before serving (ideally overnight).
Take out of fridge half an hour before serving.
Enjoy :)
If interested - here is my Red Sangria Recipe, I will update when I have written my Rose Sangria recipe too!
Let me know in the comments if you've made this and how it turned out! Much love,
Ash
I will be hosting a cocktail party at some point in the near future (we take turns). This sounds lovely so will be referring to it when the time comes . Thanks for sharing.
