Day 97 of "Figuring it Out" - Feeling Good + New YT Video

Updated: 2 days ago

Good afternoon everybody! Happy Wednesday!

Here's a random edited image of me that I am most likely going to use for a future YouTube thumbnail lol. I'm also loving the new AI features that Adobe Lightroom has - I look so much better here than I do in real life LOL. It's very creepy. I've been experimenting a lot with AI lately and some of it is definitely nightmare fuel - the Canva AI is honestly insane. I'll post some of those eventually but not today.

Today, I am feeling much better mentally than I was yesterday and I feel like I've put that to productive use today. Melbourne weather today is sunny but also a little on the cooler side, like I went for a walk before and needed my hoody for a little bit of the walk. My physical health is okay, but I've been having a lot of IBS attacks today which is no fun.

Anyway, yesterday was just another day and I'm feeling so much better (if you missed yesterday's blog, I was having a really bad mental health day). Anyway, last night I had a better sleep and was able to sleep in this morning to catch up on sleep that I had missed out on over the past few days. I made myself breakfast, uploaded a YT video, which I'll post below shortly, made some more content for YT and other social media, went for a walk, and have just been doing some random research in general. It's also only 2pm so I'm onto the earlier blog post today wahooo!

Please check out my newest YT video below! It's all about my paranormal experiences and I'd appreciate it if you watched it and gave it a thumbs up. Thank you, thank you! Please help me out because I've gotta get revenue somehow lol! I've also got a really long-a** video coming about my masters thesis (it's seriously like 1 hour long, if not more) so I'd love it if you checked that out too when it comes up!

I feel like this stuff is pretty interesting! Let me know what you think. You can also check out my previous blog post on this topic "here."

My hand is still a little sore from cutting it on the glass yesterday (by accident) but I've been able to take the plaster off. The only annoying thing is that it stings with soap or when I have a shower so that's not fun. Hopefully, it heals relatively quickly though. Can't believe I'm always in the warzones hahaha guess the joke of hurting ourselves runs deep into the Clarke family.

I've also been feeling a bit annoyed (again, surprise surprise there) at people who don't respect my time. Just because I'm on a little career break doesn't mean I don't get busy or can just drop everything I'm doing and come hang out with you. That's not fair and implies that I'm always free. I actually still have a lot on and do what to make time to see my friends so saying things like "Oh Ash can come because she's not working" without asking me directly is pretty gross. All I want is to be respected, you don't even have to like me, but if you don't respect me as a person or my time, then honestly, that's a shitty thing to do. Also, if you have no interest in me or my family, why are you inviting me? Lol. Anyway, enough about that.

It's Luke's last day in the office today and his last day for the year tomorrow so it'll be good to get some quality time in together. Tonight for date night it'll be a takeaway night and we'll be heading out to Highpoint as it's open late. I want to see if there's any wetsuits and a new microphone and maybe a few other things, but want to go in the evening when it's kinda quiet. I never know why shops stay open till midnight during the Christmas period - I used to struggle so much working those shifts back in my retail days and barely anyone came in. There might have been like 2 or 3 people and most of them were just there browsing. It's dumb. Where are the people that actually need it? We also finished The Bachelors Au (Spoiler Alert Ahead) last night and the amount of manipulation coming from one of the men on the season and his step mum was honestly disgusting. I feel so bad for Brea and I really really hope she becomes The Bachelorette because it is so effed up! Men respect her if they sleep in the same bed. Gah, it really grinded my gears so much. I'm glad it ended the way it did and honestly justice for Brea. But seriously Aussie Bach Nation, make Brea the next Bachelorette, she deserves it! And please, bring back more Bachelorette seasons because I feel like there's only been men as leads lately and I want to see some damn woman power!

Anyway, today I thought I'd share some of my favourite videos to do with Paranormal Experience Story Times so check them out below! 1. Loey Lane - My Hardest Paranormal Experience (the guys from Buzzfeed Unsolved who now run Watcher also investigated her house a long time ago)

2. Mia Mansen - My Paranormal Experiences Since Starting Witchcraft

3. Spooky Astronaunts - My Paranormal Experience / Story Time

And if you wanna read some more spooky ghost stories, "here's" a fun Buzzfeed article on people's encounters with the paranormal. I don't know why I'm drawn to this stuff at the moment. I haven't had many creepy things happen to me lately. But anyway, hope you enjoyed today's blog and if you take anything away from today's post, please check out my YouTube video at the beginning!

For today's question (yep, promised she'd be back), I want to know, do you have any dietary restrictions? Let me know in the comments below. For me, IBS can cause a lot of issues if you're not careful but I've been able to add in a lot of food back into my diet thankfully but the things I cannot handle are sorbitol, soy concentrate powder (soy seems ok, don't ask me why), and apricots (sad I love apricots).

Okie I'm out! See ya tomorrow!

Ka kite,

Much love,

Ash xx
