Day 80 of "Figuring it Out" - A Short Blog Today

Updated: Oct 3

Kia Ora everybody and welcome to day 80 of the blog! Wahoo, we're only 20 days away from reaching 100 daily blog posts - what an achievement. I'm pretty proud of myself for sticking to this little side project and I'm so thankful for everyone who tunes into the daily blogs, whether that's every day, every second day, or even just once a week. It is greatly appreciated and I hope you stick around and enjoy the content. Please do let me know if you have any ideas of what you'd like me to write about too.

Last night Luke and I had a chill evening, we ate some leftovers with some yummy veges and watched the first ep of The Bachelors. It was definitely drama-filled and I'm kinda excited for this season (mainly because I've roped Luke into watching with me). Who doesn't love a bit of reality TV? Heh.

Anyway, today we had a bit of a sleep-in, went to the chemist to pick up some scripts that I left almost way too late to go and get, and then we went down to the Woodlands Historic Park, which is such a great place to see animals and there were a bunch of butterflies, heaps of red-rumped parrots, two wood swallows, either an egret or heron (I'll have to look it up later), some zebra finches, cockatoos fairy wrens, some kangaroos, and a few doggo friends! We also played some crib in the afternoon (I still have no idea what went on), went for a second walk, and got our groceries done. Doing the groceries is such a chore sometimes and I was looking everywhere for the Christmas red and green M&M's but we found them at the last minute. I like to use them in Christmas baking to bring some festive cheer to life. We also just had fish and chips for dinner are going to Luke's parents a bit later. Although I am very tired because it's been such a big day so it'll be straight to bed for me after.

This is a really short blog today because I don't have much to talk about so I shall see you all tomorrow!

For today's question, I want to know what's your comfort TV show? Let me know in the comments below. Mine is Parks and Rec :)

Much love,

Ash xx
